Exvoco

Exvoco is an experimental vocal project working with extended technique, electronics, and performance to explore the extreme possibilities of the human voice. Drawing on traditions of sound poetry, contemporary music, and experimental performance, the project creates performances and recordings that push the voice into territory well beyond conventional singing or speech. Active in experimental music and performance contexts, it contributes to ongoing investigations of what the voice can do and mean when detached from linguistic communication and deployed as pure sonic material.
