Ewa Justka

A self-taught instrument builder and electronics teacher based in London, she creates noise music using homemade synthesisers, hacked hardware, and electrified plant matter. Originally from Poland, she arrived in London around 2009 and entered the city's DIY synth-making scene, going on to develop an expansive practice that spans noise performance, interactive installation, and hardware hacking. Her research engages with the materiality of objects and bodies, and with feminist interventions in technical and electronic culture. She has performed and led workshops at venues including Cafe OTO and Sonic Acts, and has been featured through the SHAPE Platform and the British Music Collection.
