Evapori

Working under the Evapori name since the early 2000s, Oliver Peters is an experimental composer living and working north of Hamburg. His music blurs distinctions between musique concrète, sound poetry, and contemporary classical composition, with pieces built from field recordings, transformed found materials, and acoustic instruments including piano and cello. Releases have appeared on Entr'acte, Walter Ulbricht Schallfolien, and 1000füssler, as well as on the Antiinformation imprint he co-ran with Nicolas Wiese. His 2014 album Dia-Logos, released on Fragment Factory, extended his practice into a dialogue with other composers and musicians.
