Eoin Mc Hugh

Born in Dublin in 1977, Eoin Mc Hugh lives and works in Berlin, creating paintings, watercolours, and sculpture that hover between hyperrealism and surrealist distortion. His works present warped, phantasmagoric visions rendered with the technical precision of seventeenth-century Dutch Old Masters, exploring the space between image, object, and unconscious thought. He has exhibited at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, the Douglas Hyde Gallery in Dublin, the Kerlin Gallery, and internationally, with his paintings, watercolours, and bronze sculptures engaging recurring questions about how the mind responds to what the eyes perceive.
