Elvin Brandhi

Elvin Brandhi is a Welsh musician from Bridgend, living nomadically across continents. Working with voice, electronics, and deconstructed sound, her practice creates confrontational, queered noise and experimental music that interrogates the body, language, and performance. She trained in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, releases on Ecstatic Records, and has collaborated with KMRU, Puce Mary, and others. She has performed at Unsound, CTM, Rewire, and Cafe OTO, and held residencies in London and Auckland. Her work exists at the intersection of visceral sound art and political performance.
