Elico Suzuki

Tokyo-based sound artist Elico Suzuki (also known as suzueri) studied Fine Art at Musashino Art University and Media Art at the Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences in Ōgaki. Her practice centres on self-made instruments and DIY electronic devices, which she uses to explore the gaps and narrative possibilities between physical objects and sound-producing mechanisms. She has released recordings with Roger Turner, Tetuzi Akiyama, Makoto Oshiro, and Edward Lucas, and exhibited internationally at venues including Harvestworks on Governors Island in New York in 2023. She received a Creation Grant from Arts Council Tokyo in 2021.
