Ectoplasm Girls

Swedish sisters Nadine Byrne and Tanya Byrne launched Ectoplasm Girls in Stockholm in 2007, initially as an audiovisual exploration of shared experiences with death and dreams. Their sound draws from punk, industrial, and minimal wave, producing work described as distant, muted, and quietly unsettling. Their debut album TxN appeared in 2011 on iDEAL Recordings, and their third LP New Feeling Come (2016) was listed among The Wire magazine's fifty best releases of the year.
