Duran Duran Duran

Duran Duran Duran is a Canadian noise act from Toronto working in extreme harsh noise and power electronics. Named as an ironic doubling of the 1980s pop group, the project deploys maximal electronic distortion and feedback in the tradition of Japanese noise and American power electronics. Releases on Chondritic Sound and related labels demonstrate a commitment to sonic extremity with an awareness of the cultural politics of noise. The project participates in a North American noise underground that maintains active connections to European and Japanese noise traditions.
