Dos Tracks

DOS Tracks is one of the many aliases of German electronic musician Uwe Schmidt (born 1968, Frankfurt), best known under the name Atom™ (also Atom Heart, Señor Coconut, Lassigue Bendthaus). Schmidt founded the influential label Rather Interesting with Pete Namlook in 1994, releasing dozens of full-length records across a sprawling web of pseudonyms before the label closed in 2013. As DOS Tracks he released the album ":)" in 1999, an exercise in minimal, glitch-inflected electronics typical of his output from that period. Schmidt relocated to Santiago, Chile in the late 1990s, where he continues to work prolifically across genres from techno to Latin dance parody.
