Dollhouse

New York punk group whose lineup draws from the city's noise and underground rock communities, featuring guitarist Hank Wood, bassist and experimental noise artist Margaret Chardiet—widely known as Pharmakon—and drummer Tye Miller of LOTION and Mommy. Rooted in the lo-fi punk tradition and shaped by Chardiet's confrontational noise practice, the group's sound operates in a zone of abrasive, stripped-down intensity. Their formation connects several strands of New York underground culture, from hardcore and noise-punk to the power electronics and experimental scenes in which Chardiet and her collaborators have been influential figures.
