dBridge

dBridge is the alias of Darren White, an English drum & bass producer whose career traces back to the genre's early-1990s foundations. He was one quarter of the drum & bass supergroup Bad Company, alongside Fresh, Vegas, and DJ Maldini, known for a darker, cinematic strain of the sound. In the mid-2000s he founded Exit Records, initially an outlet for his own work that grew into a label for adventurous, boundary-pushing drum & bass. Around 2010, alongside Instra:mental, he helped coin Autonomic, a hybrid 170bpm sound fusing drum & bass with dubstep, IDM, and techno textures. His solo debut The Gemini Principle (2008) remains a genre touchstone. He also produces house and techno as Velvit.
