Das Synthetische Mischgewebe
Das Synthetische Mischgewebe is a German experimental project founded by Christoph Heemann in the early 1990s, producing noise and industrial music of sustained intensity through a combination of tape manipulation, electronics, and processed sound sources. Associated with the label Tara and later with Streamline and other imprints, the project has developed a dense, personal sound that influences contemporary dark ambient and noise artists. Heemann is also associated with Mirror and other collaborative projects, maintaining a consistently uncompromising approach to experimental electronic sound.
