Daniela Cascella
Italian writer and scholar based in London since 2009, her practice explores the intersections of literature, voice, and sonic culture through what she calls chimeric writing—composite, many-voiced, unstable in form. Between 1999 and 2008 she was a contributing editor at the Italian music magazine Blow Up, writing on experimental music and sound art. She taught in the MA Sound Arts at UAL London College of Communication from 2014 to 2023, and previously at the University of Bergen. Her books include Singed, Nothing As We Need It (2022), and Chimeras (2022), with Beauty, Burning (2026) forthcoming from Erratum Press.
