Daniel Neumann

Originally from Germany, Brooklyn-based, Daniel Neumann is a sound artist and audio engineer who holds a master's degree in media art from the Academy of Visual Art Leipzig and studied electronic music composition in Catania, Italy. He runs CT::SWaM, a Berlin and New York event series focused on spatial sound and focused listening, with a dedicated eight-channel room at Fridman Gallery. His installations and performances have been presented at MoMA PS1, the Sculpture Center, Eyebeam, and the Rubin Museum, where he was acoustic designer of The World Is Sound. He served as house sound engineer at MoMA PS1 from 2013 to 2016.
