Cristian Vogel

Cristian Vogel (born 1972) is a British-Chilean electronic musician and producer based in Berlin. Releasing on Tresor, Novamute, and his own Mosquito label, he developed from the mid-1990s a style of technically precise and formally experimental techno that placed him alongside Thomas Brinkmann and Surgeon in the harder, more conceptual edge of British and European dance music. His work has consistently engaged with process, system, and machine logic rather than traditional musical structure. He has collaborated with Jamie Lidell and Steve Bicknell, and continues to produce and perform internationally.
