Cranioclast

Cranioclast is an electronic and industrial music project from Geneva, active since the mid-1980s. Working in harsh noise, industrial ambience, and rhythmic electronics, they have released extensively on Prikosnovenie, Permis de Construire, and other European underground labels. Their sound combines dense electronic texture with a formal rigour that sets them apart from pure noise — compositional structures emerge from the brutal sonic surface. They remain one of the more enduring Swiss experimental electronic acts, maintaining a consistent practice across nearly four decades of underground activity.
