Corridos Ketamina

Corridos Ketamina is the Mexican-American duo of Nico Malva and Henny Fay, formed in 2024 to remake the corrido, a centuries-old Mexican ballad tradition, for the internet age. Their sound collides corridos tumbados, the trap-inflected strain of narcocorrido dominating streaming charts, with cloud rap, punk, and emo, sung through Auto-Tune over acoustic bass and guitar. Their self-titled 2025 debut EP, including the track "Ketitz," slides from folk phrasing into Atlanta-style triplet flows within one song. The album La Cktriz, a stylized spelling of la cicatriz ("the scar"), aims to carry the movement onto a global stage, treating outlaw balladry as raw material for online reinvention.
