Constanza Piña
Born in Curicó, Chile in 1984, Constanza Piña is an artist and researcher known as Corazón de Robota working with DIY electronics, analogue synthesizers built from recycled components, textile antennas, and EMF amplifiers as instruments of feminist and indigenous inquiry. She co-founded Chimbalab, the first media lab in Chile focused on DIY electronics, and since 2013 has developed research into Andean computational systems through her project Khipu, which received an honorary mention at Ars Electronica 2020. She founded the technofeminist collective Cyborgrrrls and later joined Medialabmx in Mexico City.
