Claudix Vanesix
Claudix Vanesix (they/them) is a Peruvian performance and XR artist based in France. They co-founded AMiXR, a collective researching feminist, decolonial approaches to AI and extended reality in film and performance, and direct FIVIA, a French video-and-AI festival. Their work critiques sexism and racism in digital life, mixing new technologies with ancestral tradition against technological inevitability. Notable works include the performance NFTs: Non Fuckable Tokens, shown at Ars Electronica and SXSW, and the VR film Dance Permit (Denied), premiered at IDFA. In 2022 they received an Erasmus Mundus scholarship in Media Arts Cultures, studying across Austria, Denmark, Poland, and Singapore.
