Chuquimamani-Condori

Chuquimamani-Condori, working as DJ E, is an artist and DJ working in experimental club music and global electronic sound, whose productions resist easy genre categorisation by combining techno, noise, cumbia, dembow, and electronic music from a range of regional traditions. Their work moves between underground club culture and experimental practice, finding in the latter a conceptual framework for the formal innovations implicit in the former. Of Aymara descent, they draw on traditions including huayno and tarqueada alongside dancefloor forms, treating production as a space of cultural continuity.
