Christoph Ogiermann

Born in 1967, this German composer and performer began composing in 1990 after working with Erwin Koch-Raphael and completed his composition diploma at the Bremen University for the Arts under Younghi Pagh-Paan. He has worked at the Archivio Luigi Nono in Venice and as a guest composer at the Institute for Electronic Music in Graz and the Experimentalstudio at SWR. His work explores diverse notational and conceptual frameworks including text scores and extended performance instructions. He received the Kunstpreis Musik of the Akademie der Künste, Berlin, and co-founded MusicActionEnsemble KLANK.
