Christian Zanési
Christian Zanési (born 1952) is a French composer and producer of electroacoustic and acousmatic music, and former director of the creation department at the Groupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM) in Paris. A student of and successor to François Bayle, he has produced an extensive body of acousmatic works since the 1970s, including the Stop! the Flowers Are Singing series and other long-form compositions that explore the sonic landscape of urban, industrial, and domestic environments. He has also been an important figure in promoting and producing electroacoustic music through his work at INA-GRM.
