Carlos Casas

Carlos Casas is a Spanish film director, artist, and musician whose work encompasses documentary cinema, installation art, and sound composition. His films — including Hunters Since the Beginning of Time (2009) and Mass Grave (2010) — explore extreme environments and states of being at the edges of human experience. As a musician and sound artist, he creates dense, atmospheric compositions using field recording, processed audio, and documentary material. He has released on Hospital Productions and exhibited internationally, maintaining a practice that refuses boundaries between filmmaking, art, and music.
