Blu Anxxiety

Formed in New York in 2017, this trio of Chi Dracula Orengo, Justin Schmidt, and Rob Hoffman merges EBM, industrial, goth rock, and deathrock with hip-hop aggression and Latin freestyle influences into what frontperson Chi describes as dark freestyle. The band layers sharp political commentary beneath their abrasive sonics and is known for their visual presentation, which features nun headpieces and a deliberately confrontational aesthetic. Albums include God's Exposure (2019), Baptized in Space (2019), and Morbid Now, Morbid Later (2023).
