Blod

Blod is the solo project of Gustaf Dicksson (born c. 1986), a Gothenburg musician central to the Swedish DIY underground. Active since 2014, the project spans melodic and melancholic instrumental compositions for piano, guitar, and saxophone alongside harsh noise minimalism and found-sound recordings — all home-recorded with minimal overdubs and a direct-to-tape approach. Key releases include Missväxt (Aguirre Records, 2021) and a prolific run of cassettes and LPs on Discreet Music, Förlag För Fri Musik, and Segerhuva. Dicksson also plays in Enhet För Fri Musik and co-runs the Omlott and Höga Nord Rekords labels.
