Berenice Llorens

Berenice Llorens is a composer, guitarist, DJ and experimental sound artist from Córdoba, Argentina, now based in Berlin. Trained in piano, composition and graphic design at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, she works through deep listening and free improvisation, reworking field recordings of nature, cities and machinery into pieces that treat perception of environment as compositional material. Her solo practice moves between analog and digital tools, voice and processed sound. In 2021 she received Argentina's National Endowment for the Arts support for Marmotas Dreams, and hosts a monthly show on Refuge Worldwide, alongside work shown at MUTEK and ACUD MACHT NEU Berlin.
