Bárbara González
Born in Santiago de Chile in 1975, she holds a degree in Visual Arts from the University of Chile and a Master in Artistic Productions and Research from the University of Barcelona. Her practice centers on sonic-visual-corporeal connections explored through analog and digital technologies, assembled into what she calls sound-visual assemblages. She has exhibited and performed at major venues including the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia in Madrid and the Tsonami Sound Art Festival in Valparaiso. Her work is rooted in a childhood habit of collecting cassettes, old televisions, and discarded electronic objects.
