Arved Schultze
Born 1973 in Hamburg, this Berlin dramaturg, curator and video artist studied theatre, film and musicology in Berlin and Rome before beginning dramaturgical work in 1998. He has collaborated with Christoph Marthaler, Ruedi Häusermann and collectives Raumlabor, Rimini Protokoll and She She Pop, and curated the 2011 Kleistfestival at Maxim Gorki Theater. His practice regularly crosses into sound: he contributed to the radio-play initiative Hörspielpark, edited audio for Das Akustische Kleist Denkmal, and played French horn in 2022's The Score of the Future with Schneider TM and Faust drummer Werner Diermaier. He also directed Kparr Diré, a documentary on Lobi balafon music from Burkina Faso.
