Arturo Hernández Alcázar
Born in Mexico in 1978, Arturo Hernández Alcázar is a multidisciplinary artist whose work engages with processes of erosion, fragmentation, explosion, and pulverization as both material phenomena and conceptual frameworks. He collects fragments, remnants, and archival materials to construct temporary assemblages and precarious sculptures that make critical statements about contemporary political contexts. His international solo presentations include No trabajes Nunca at MUAC, UNAM, Mexico City (2010), Falling Remains at Kunstraum München, Berlin (2016), and Stillness in the Storm at Museum Voorlinden, Netherlands (2025). He has also shown at the Heide Museum of Modern Art, Australia.
