Arianne Churchman

Arianne Churchman is a London-based artist born in 1988 in Suffolk, working across video, performance, sound, and sculpture. Her practice draws on British folklore, folk custom, and local belief systems, which she reshapes into ritual assemblages. Her ongoing Dream Horse Cult project reimagines Suffolk horse lore into feminist collective histories and psychedelic dreamscapes. She is a regular contributor to Folklore Tapes, appearing across its Calendar Customs and Art of Magic series. Sound works have been broadcast on BBC Radio 3, NTS, and Resonance FM. She has collaborated with Chloe Langlois, Sharron Kraus, and Benedict Drew.
