Alberto de Campo

Born in 1964, Alberto de Campo is a composer and computational artist based in Berlin. He is Prefessor for Generative and Computational Art at the Institute for Time-Based Media at UdK. He studied composition with Georg Haas and Beat Furrer, and electronic music with Curtis Roads. His practice spans computer music, audiovisual performance, and the sonification of scientific data. Notable works include SurveillanceSuite (2017) and Polypalimpsestinator (2013–15), and he contributed to Multiverse Crosstalk Radio at documenta 14. He is also a member of The Society for Nontrivial Pursuits.
