Ade Adepitan
Ade Adepitan (b. 1973) is a British-Nigerian television presenter, broadcaster, and former Paralympic wheelchair basketball player. Born in Lagos, he contracted polio as an infant and moved to London with his family as a child, later becoming a key member of the Great Britain wheelchair basketball team and winning bronze at the 2004 Athens Paralympics.
Since retiring from competitive sport, he has built a career as a documentary presenter, fronting travel and current-affairs programs for the BBC and Channel 4 that often explore disability, global development, and his own Nigerian heritage, bringing a personal and exploratory voice to mainstream broadcast journalism.
