Adam Asnan

Born in the UK in 1983, Adam Asnan is an electroacoustic musician and location sound recordist based between London and Berlin. His work focuses on the aesthetic potential of sound capture and amplification — exploring concepts of phonogeny (a parallel to photogeny) in recording and producing works that instrumentalise reverb and spatial acoustics. He performs solo and as one third of VA AA LR, an electroacoustic trio with Vasco Alves and Louie Rice. His recordings have been released on SM-LL and Jungle Gym Records, and his compositions and performances have been presented at venues including Cafe OTO in London, ausland in Berlin, and Q-O2 in Brussels.
