Aaron Dilloway

Aaron Dilloway is an American noise artist and the founder of Hanson Records, one of the most important independent labels in American experimental and noise music. A former member of Wolf Eyes, Dilloway later developed a solo practice centred on tape manipulation, homemade electronics, and circuit-bending. His recordings treat magnetic tape as a living medium, subjecting it to loops and degradation that transform recorded material into dense hallucinatory constructions. Albums including Modern Jester (2012), a double LP regarded as his most ambitious release, established him as one of noise's most distinctive voices, while Hanson's storefront anchors a wider community of practitioners.
